SCU Health System is proud to have partnerships at clinics, facilities, and health centers all over Southern California. Our community outreach locations are an opportunity for SCU Health System to provide integrative healing to a broader community. We are proud to be trusted to deliver services at the following locations.

Community Outreach Locations

  • Whittier Community Resource Center
    A center providing comprehensive, integrative and accessible services, programs, and training to residents of Whittier.
  • The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation
    A medical center dedicated to cancer prevention, diagnosis, and education committed to providing superior, compassionate, and state-of-the-art medical care tailored to every patient’s unique needs.
  • Being Alive
    A nonprofit membership organization created and operated by and for people living with HIV/AIDS determined on building a healthier, more powerful HIV-positive community.
  • Saban Free Clinic
    A medical home providing comprehensive, dependable, and affordable quality healthcare in a caring environment for the underserved.
  • Venice Family Clinic
    A clinic focused on providing quality primary healthcare to people in need. Offering healthcare free of charge to over 24,400 individuals annually, ninety-seven percent of whom are low-income and three-quarters who are uninsured.
  • Orange County Rescue Mission/Hurtt Family Health Clinic
    A clinic providing a full scope of medical, dental, vision, mental health and chiropractic preventive, primary, and specialized healthcare to homeless and underserved families.
  • Safe Refuge (formally known as Substance Abuse Foundation for Long Beach)
    A foundation focused on providing a full spectrum of substance abuse support to underserved population.
  • Healing Hands for Humanity
    SCU Health System club providing consistent care to underserved populations.
  • Stand Down Events
    Collaborative events between the VA medical centers, government agencies, and community service providers, focused on providing supplies, services, and counseling to homeless veterans.
  • Huntington Park Family Health Center
    A health center with a wide range of primary care services providing timely, affordable, and accessible healthcare to the community of Huntington.
  • Children’s Hospital of Orange County
    A hospital who aims to nurture, advance, and protect the health and well-being of children and are committed to providing the highest quality medical care for children.

Community Events

SCU Health System also supports a variety of athletes and community events such as:

  • USA Water Polo
    The National Governing Body for water polo in the USA
  • Wild Flower Triathlon
    A swim, bike, run race held at Lake San Antonio in Central California.
  • AIDS lifecycle
    A 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
  • Surf City Marathon
    Oceanfront marathon, half marathon through Huntington Beach.
  • LA New Year’s Race
    New Year’s marathon through downtown Los Angeles.
  • Long beach Marathon
    Marathon, half marathon, 5k run/walk and bike race through Long Beach’s oceanfront and metropolitan downtown area.
  • Long Beach AIDS Ride
    A fundraising event designed to support local Long Beach efforts in education, prevention, and treatment of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and related illnesses.
  • Vans US Open of Surfing
    Surf, skate, and BMX competition in Huntington Beach.
